Depend on where you wanna go, and how long the time you have. Inter region, I advise you take airplanes , its just so cheap. Airasia, Malindo and a few more. For inter city, just hopin the train or bus. Don't worry, if you'll get lose, anyone are willing to help you. I'm still on my backpack at the moment on east coast. Really nice place and people. If you like to driving around, just rent a car. There are plenty of provider out there that you can find. The price range from RM60 to RM1+++, that's depend on which car you rent. You can start searching them at mudah.my

Considering its a rainy season, I suffers you to use train. For a start, go to KL Sentral, for all routes
